Age Range: 2 and up

Parking: small lot at the very South end of Liverpool where it dead ends at the bridge to enter the waterfront walkway (*if you want to park in this lot you should arrive by 10:00am on weekends or you will end up street parking before the shops on Liverpool Rd)

Shade: none on the splash pad, but picnic areas further up along the boardwalk and on the beach have plenty of shade

Overall assessment: This is a great splash pad with plenty of benches for watchful eyes and bags full of towels.  The tunnel of water mist is a great place to cool off.  The kids love hitting the buttons to activate each water feature too and see if they can get each other wet.  It's also nice to have it right next to the washrooms and the playground just off of the beach so it's easy for kids to run from one to the other. NOTE: it can become a VERY busy area in the summer
