My name is Valerie and I am a stay at home mom with three wonderful kids and a wonderful fiancé. I love seeing new things and enjoy road-tripping to many new places. I hope to see East coast to West coast Canada throughout my lifetime.   

My three kids love going on adventures, road trips and doing anything exciting. They are very energetic and love experiencing things I find for them to do.  

In June 2014 I started a Facebook group called 'Summer Frugal Fun' in Durham for local moms and kids to meet and socialize while visiting different low cost places in and around the region.

My group has grown to include year round activities and information as well as over 450 followers just in the first year! I have also started a website to collect and post frugal family fun resources for Durham Region and post weekly updates of current local events.
