Lakeview Park (waterfront)

Picture
Hours of Operation: 10am - 8pm (seasonal late Spring to Labour Day weekend)

Age Range: 2 and up

Parking: plenty of parking just off of Lakeview Park Ave beside the Jubilee Pavillion Banquet and Conference Centre

Ground Cover: soft rubber

Main Equipment (updated in 2021):
  • button activation posts
  • multiple in ground jets
  • multiple spray arches
  • multiple spray posts

Accessibility Features: wheelchair accessible

Facilities/Surrounding Park Area/Other:
  • see Lakeview Park post

Seating: picnic tables a bit further away

Shade: very little immediately on the splash pad from the trees (depending on the time of day)

Overall assessment: This a full out splash pad. It's now one of the largest in the area with plenty of space for plenty of kids to cool off. We haven't seen it turned on yet ourselves but we see there are a lot of water features and ground jets in the splash pad!

Hi Kiyal,

If you're looking for the beach lake water quality you can find that here https://www.theswimguide.org/beach/41.

If you're asking about the actual splash pad water quality, Ontario regulations stipulate the water source must be fresh city water or source water, or if circulated it must be filtered and disinfected and inspected. I am not sure what systems are used in Oshawa so please contact the City of Oshawa if you have any more questions; [email protected] ph#:905-436-3311

Enjoy the splash pad fun!
