Palmer Park Splash Pad - Port Perry

Area: Port Perry waterfront

Hours of Operation: open daily from July 1st to September 1st, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Age Range: all ages 

Parking: large parking lot off of Water Street

Ground Cover: cement

Main Equipment: 
  • 4 spraying frogs
  • 2 umbrella waterfalls
  • 1 arch tunnel
  • in ground water jets

Accessibility Features: wheelchair accessible

Facilities/Surrounding Park Area/Other:
  • see Palmer Park - Port Perry post

Seating: 1 park bench facing the waterfront in front of the splash pad 

Shade: surrounding trees and a gazebo in the center of the park


Overall assessment: A great splash pad with a breeze off the waterfront! Adjacent playground and park space, along with local favorite The Perfect Scoop across the street, make this park a perfect day trip location.

its never open always something wrong with our taxs should have it fixed for the kids

I know it was flooded quite a bit last year. Hopefully this year it is open more often.

I would encourage you to write your municipal government in Scugog about the maintenance of their splash pad.

I wouldn't say wheelchair accessible. If you could even get across the thick mulch there is a step of about three inches at the bottom of the playset ramp.
