Surrounding Park Area: attached to the beautiful waterfront trail and a huge green space with picnic benches outside of the Carruthers Marsh pavilion
Seating: 2 park benches and 1 picnic table by the park, some seating at the nearby Splash Pad, and picnic tables further along the waterfront trail
Shade: no shade on the playground, some shade from the surrounding trees, and tree shade for the picnic tables
Overall assessment: A great little park on the East end of the Ajax waterfront trail. There is enough to do for the younger kids on the smaller play structure and plenty of different things to climb and explore on the larger structure. This is the first time I have seen a Fireman Pole at a playground in a very long time!
