Features:
  • two story climber structure with twirly tube slide, two racing slides, and multiple smaller slides
  • toddler area with smaller two story climbing structure but minimal floor crawling space
  • token rides dispersed throughout as well as a game corner at the back

Cleanliness: Overall it was clean when we visited in July in the play area and general seating area (we didn't need to use the washrooms so didn't check those this visit). Socks are required by all including adults and are worn as soon as entering the building (including into the washrooms).

Safety: There is a safety gate after paying for admission so no toddlers can make it past the front desk to the front door area.

Capacity: six party rooms with seating for 120, plus standing room for an additional 70 between all six rooms. Additional seating in the main dining area

Food: Outside food and drink is NOT permitted, and they state they are a nut-aware facility. No food, drinks or gum are permitted in the play areas. All food must be consumed in the designated eating area. They do have a Snack bar with a full lunch service menu, drinks, and coffee.

Additional Services:
  • six birthday party rooms
  • Snack bar concession with full meal offerings
  • Token rides and games ($1 for 4 tokens, most rides and games take 2 tokens)

Bonus Play: They have monthly passes and multi-play passes available.

Best For Ages: 2-12years

Overall Review:
Our three and a half year old really loved that this play space had rides and games to play (much to my wallet's dismay). The tokens are a reasonable price at least as $5 let us ride 6 rides and play 4 games (it bought us 20 tokens and most rides/games take 2). The play structure is built in a way that it is difficult to keep a visual on an energetic kid at all times. I was not the only parent playing Marco Polo with my kidlet! The floors were very clean, I didn't go in the play structure at all as I am the mom who most surely would get stuck chasing my daughter through a tube. It is one of the original play places in Durham and was definitely starting to show it's age, but with recent upgrades and renovations to the play structure mats and area carpeting it is a great option for a rainy day out if you are okay with the extra token spending.

Overall Review:
Our three and a half year old had a blast at this indoor playground! She met up with some friends her age and they had no problem navigating the entire play structure on their own without any help. The bonus with their age is that they can still enter the Toddler area for ages 3 and under for some low key downtime if needed in the toddler ball pit (which is generally empty compared to the larger ball pit at the back of the main structure). We do recommend you monitor the double big slide as with a lot of kids it gets busy and they don't always wait their turn, which has caused pile-ups and injuries. We brought our own lunch in since the concession only sells snacks, which allowed us to stay and play for three hours! During public hours playtime is unlimited once you pay the entrance fee. The seating area (sorry it was really busy and we couldn't get a good photo) has enough chairs and tables for up to 25 people, including a couple of high chairs, to stay and eat to play as long as you like. We will DEFINITELY go back to this location to play again in the future!
